Dan is a photographer based in Chicago, IL. He was born and raised in Glens Falls, NY and graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, with majors in Management Science and Marketing.

As an avid runner, Dan completed the six Abbott World Major Marathons, instigating his love of travel and exploration.  That travel, combined with growing up in the scenic Adirondacks has fueled Dan’s passion for photography, specifically landscapes and nature. Dan’s work has been featured in juried exhibitions at several galleries, including Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis, MN, Black Box Gallery in Portland, OR, SE Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, and WithinSight Gallery in Chicago, IL.   Dan has received Honorable Mention/Finalist Awards in competitions including Annual Photography Awards, One Eyeland World’s Top Landscape Photography Contest, Chromatic Photography Awards, Shoot the Frame Land Competitions, and Creative Quarterly.  Dan strives to push the boundaries of his exploration and creativity, capturing compelling images that connect with and inspire people.

After 33 years, Dan retired from Xerox Corporation, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and leadership, including VP of Sales and Marketing.  Dan is an Instructor at Chicago Photography Classes, a photography school and community located in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago.   Dan volunteers with FreshLens Chicago, an organization that provides tuition free photography and life skills programs for under-resourced Chicago youth.
